UNDERSTANDING THE WEIGHT OF THE MATTER

- Many Christians have become insensitive, and they look at
things and take then lightly. It was not so with Jesus.
- Even though He has power over all things, He first sought to
find out the reason why the demon had defeated the disciples. He realized that
probably it is not just a sudden thing that has happened to the boy.
- He established from the father how long the boy has been
affected by the demon. The father replied that it has frustrated him all his
life since birth.
- We have issues in our lives that have been in our lineage
long before we were born; they are even older than us; some older than our
parents and grandparents. And some of them we have prayed for for a long time until
we feel discouraged.
- The reason people get discouraged and even leave the
fellowship of brethren is because the person prayed yes, but they didn’t give
the issue the weight that it deserves.
- It is important however for every believer to know that
every issue in life has an answer from God.
- Jacob in the Old Testament realized that he had a problem,
and when he met the angel, he sent everyone ahead, to remain behind to wrestle with
him. And he didn’t wrestle for one hour, or two, or four, or six: he wrestled
for the whole night.
- There are things that 30-minute prayer and one hour prayer,
or two hour prayer cannot handle. You need deeper prayer.
- [Jeremiah 29:11] is a common verse-that says God has good plans
for us, but it’s followed by verse 12, that insists that for all the good plans
God has for us, they are to cause us to go deeper in prayer. [Jeremiah 29:12]
- Seek to understand the root cause of the problem in your
life and family before even beginning to fight it.
- For example, any misfortunes brought about by witchery must
be handled in a special way: since a witch is a priest in the kingdom of
darkness, he can only be fought by a fellow priest from the kingdom of light. You
must invite your local priest (pastor, bishop, apostle, prophet) who shepherds
you and his prayer is able to overturn every work of the enemy.
- And since sacrifices were made to the witch, you must also
offer a sacrifice to God through your priest for the curse to be defeated
completely.
- Do don’t be the kind of Christian that only cuts the
branches and leaves but doesn’t deal with the roots- because this way the
tree(the issue) will always sprout again after a short time; UNDERSTAND THE
WEIGHT OF THE MATTER
