Minister Mishel Freeland ministering at Victory Gospel Apostolic Church HQ at Lutonyi, Kakamega; referring to Genesis 22 urged the church to be ready to hearken to Gods Voice and be ready to be lead of the Lord even in difficult situations that seem not to make sense. she reminded the congregants of how God called Abraham from His own people, and even after he had sacrificed to leave and go to foreign land, the Lord still gives him a more difficult test by asking him to offer his only legal son whom he had birthed in his old age. It wasn't easy for him to accept to follow the Lords leading on this matter since it involved his only heir. it seemed to Abraham as if God was unfair or unrealistic or inconsiderate, but still he chose to obey. she emphasized on the need for Christians today to have faith in God and to trust the Lords leading even if the end is unclear and uncertain.
she was speaking on the last Youth Sunday of the year that saw the youth lead the whole Sunday program of the day, other ministers who shared the word in the other morning services were teacher Benson Ouma and sister Helen Sinoya. we thank the Lord for His mighty visitation that Sunday the 18th Nov 2018.
