what is Children's Day

This is a program that was initiated by joint efforts of the Sunday school and the youth department of the church whose main aim is to mentor children and teenagers in serving God in a way that will let them learn to value and honor Gods House with their time, resources, energy and the intellectual abilities that God Almighty has deposited in them. 

It is meant for all children from ages 1 year, and all teenagers to the age of 17 years. The children meet at church on the appointed Saturdays at 9 am to 4 pm. On arrival, they are engaged in the general cleaning of the church, playing, group sessions with mentors, learn playing church instruments and operation of other church utilities, and on occasions find an opportunity to interact with pastors and the apostle to learn more on ministry and living for God as they grow up. 

How does this help the Government

The only way to help the government as the church is to model young people to be well behaved citizens in the society, and this will in the long run avoid breeds of criminals from arising in our generation. The impact will ripple throughout the systems of our society where well raised children wont be criminals, they will instead engage in genuine jobs and income generating ventures thereby reducing the burden on the government that is incurred trying to apprehend and keep criminals in prisons and cells while at the same time adding to the general productivity of the young people. This programs also aims to find activities and roles it can directly involve itself in to help the government in the localities we live in. It is a model to be admired and adopted by all other churches and christian based organisations who have a heart for young people.
